DR. CHRISTIANA SILVA
In 2011, Dr. Silva founded SD Center for Counseling, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization developed to provide no cost therapy services to children who are impacted by traumatic events. SDCC’s mission is to help children and their families heal from traumatic events so that the cycle of abuse can end and the path of healing can begin.
Dr. Silva is the Chief Behavioral Health Officer of Fusion Care Group. Fusion Care Group (formerly SD Psychological Services) was opened in 2007 as a group private practice that provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults to enable them to work through, and grow from, difficult life events.
Dr. Silva is co-partners with Dr. Tanya Hilber at the SD Center for Neurofeedback. SDCNF is non medication based treatment to assist with physiological self-regulation, psychological resolution, decreasing symptoms, and increasing your functioning for better quality of life.
In 2006, Dr. Christiana K. Silva was awarded her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology by the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Dr. Silva has attended UCLA and UCSD receiving her B.S. in Psychology. Her doctoral research study investigated dysfluent speech in abused children.

Cara’s passion is empowering others. Watching the transformation of clients has given her such insight into the importance of believing in ourselves. The power of self-esteem can bring such insight to our true dreams and aspirations. Her experience with addiction, domestic violence and trauma has given her the knowledge and experience to understand the inner thoughts that hold us back. She believes that these negative life cycles are all connected. She helps others to break the cycle of addiction, the cycle of violence or the unhealthy cycle of life and begin their new chapter in life.
DR. DIANE LASS
Dr. Lass is a Clinical Psychologist and has worked in the field of domestic violence for over 12 years. Dr. Lass conducts individual and group therapy in addition to supervising interns and psychological assistants. Originally, Dr. Lass became the founder and President of Hope and Strength Psychological Services, Professional Corporation, working with domestic violence and sexual assault victims as a community partner with the San Diego Family Justice Center (SDFJC). Through Hope and Strength Psychological Services, Dr. Lass provided and continues to provide services offsite in private practice. In 2011, Dr. Lass formed and serves as President of the Center for Hope and Strength, Inc., a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization and community partner with SDFJC.

Joanna has over 20 years’ experience in Fundraising, Development and nonprofit management. Joanna has led programs with organizations such as KEEN USA, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, UK and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Paris. She holds a BS in Business Administration and certifications in fundraising and Nonprofit management from Cal State University, Northridge and the Institute of Fundraising, UK.
Joanna is dedicated to philanthropic development for children’s causes and programs that support communities.
Joanna lives in Southern California with her husband Stuart, 2 sons – Alex and Thomas and 2 dogs. She loves running, reading and spending time with her family.
